ILSC Australia 2026: morning, afternoon and evening class times

At a glance

Read ILSC's 2026 timetable by teaching hours, attendance windows and core-versus-skills days before choosing a class schedule.

Choosing an English class schedule involves more than finding a convenient start time. ILSC's official 2026 Australia workshop timetable distinguishes weekly teaching hours, the daily attendance window and the kinds of classes taught on different days. Those measures answer different planning questions.

The timetable offers three full-time schedules and two part-time schedules. It does not establish that every option is available for every campus, course or enrolment. Use it to compare the published arrangements, then confirm the schedule that applies to your own booking.

Three full-time options, the same stated weekly hours

The workshop lists each full-time option as 24 lessons and 20 hours per week:

  • Morning: 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
  • Afternoon: 1:15 pm to 5:15 pm.
  • Evening: 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

In each option, Monday to Wednesday are labelled Core Class and Thursday to Friday are labelled Skills Class. Choosing the evening schedule therefore does not mean choosing fewer stated weekly teaching hours than the morning schedule. The difference shown is the time of day, not a reduced full-time teaching commitment.

The table does not list the exact content of every skills class or establish that a particular elective runs in all three time slots. If a specific subject matters to you, ask about its availability separately rather than treating the timetable as a course catalogue.

Why the attendance window is not the teaching-hour total

The morning window spans four and a half hours, while the afternoon and evening windows each span four hours. Yet the slide labels all three full-time schedules as 20 hours per week.

Keep those two facts separate. The clock times tell you when to protect space in your day; the stated weekly hours describe the teaching allocation. The slide does not provide a detailed break schedule or enough information to assign a universal number of minutes to every lesson.

For example, multiplying the morning window by five would produce 22.5 elapsed hours. That calculation should not be presented as ILSC's teaching total: the source explicitly states 20 hours. Nor should the difference be turned into a claimed break pattern without a more detailed timetable.

What the part-time table includes

The separate part-time table lists morning and evening options, each with 15 lessons and 12 hours per week. Both show Core Class on Monday to Wednesday:

  • Part-time morning: 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
  • Part-time evening: 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

No part-time afternoon option or Thursday–Friday skills component appears in this table. That is a description of the supplied 2026 schedule, not a claim that ILSC can never offer another arrangement.

The presence of a part-time option also does not establish that it fits an individual's enrolment conditions or intended university pathway. Confirm suitability with the provider before making a course choice based solely on fewer attendance days.

Compare the surrounding day, not only the classroom slot

A useful personal comparison adds travel, meals and time for independent practice around each published window. These are planning considerations, not additional hours mandated by the workshop.

For an evening option, check the journey home after 9:30 pm. For a morning option, check whether the trip allows a reliable arrival before 8:30 am. An afternoon option may leave the morning available, but that does not make it sensible to fill every remaining hour with fixed commitments.

Before booking, confirm the campus and start date, the available schedule, the classes included and how any subsequent timetable changes are handled. The workshop does not promise unrestricted switching between time slots or a particular rate of progress in English.
